Ed Armstrong is a former newspaper editor and publisher. He is also a printer and businessman. He knows the family of Jim Baines,
the subject of the book; PENITENCE. It was this knowledge that led him to approach Baines on the subject of writing a book about his
involvement in Howard’s death to try to prevent other such incidents.
He thanks Jim Baines for his co-operation and courage in the
writing of PENITENCE. Mr. Armstrong has been married for over 50 years, has six children, fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He is president of several businesses and is also a member of several local non-profit boards.
